Natural Earth Woodcraft is a small business based in Derbyshire, UK, producing charcoal, shepherd’s huts, rustic furniture and crafts, oak timber framing and coppice products. We also demonstrate rural crafts, run educational courses and workshops.
Shepherd’s Huts
Hand built by us in Derbyshire, our shepherd’s huts are made to order. You can use the shepherd’s huts for variety of uses including a Garden Office, Holiday Let, Painter’s Studio, Summer House, Children’s Playroom, Fishing Hut or Hideaway.
Locally Produced Charcoal
Our charcoal is also produced in Derbyshire from sustainable woodland management practices. We sell the charcoal in local shops and directly from us.
Rustic Furniture and Coppice Products
Our rustic furniture is also often made from recycled or sustainably managed wood. We handmake a whole range of furniture, from small candle holders, to beds and garden furniture. We also sell a range of products from coppicing, such as bean poles, pea sticks, weaving products, hedge laying stakes and binders, fencing and gates.
Oak Timber Framing
We use traditional methods of timber framing to produce large and small structures such as porches, garages, and garden rooms.
Green woodwork demonstrations, Courses and Workshops
Over the summer and early autumn months, you will see us at various events demonstrating pole lathe turning, besom making and other rural crafts. We can create workshops and demonstrations to suit your needs. We also run individual and group courses in green woodcraft, suitable for schools, groups of work colleagues and individuals of all ages.
