Natural Earth Woodcraft also demonstrate traditional woodcraft methods such as pole lathe turning, and have recently run practical sessions for groups of home educated children and their families, as well as running sessions for schools. Other educational sessions have been run for children and adult groups on request. We also run courses and individual sessions for adults to teach them traditional methods of wood working such as pole lathe turning and shave horse working. We are also available for talks to groups, such as WI groups. In a recent session, Shaun gave a talk to a WI group in Derbyshire and taught some of them how to carve spoons from a piece of wood. You can see us doing pole lathe demonstrations at some of the events we attend during the summer and autumn months.
